Ten Minutes a Day

Sometimes the day is too busy to get to the important project. But you can always find 10 minutes.

Most of the time, that ten minutes will turn into 20 or 30. Because once you get started, your mindset will shift and all the urgent things won’t seem so urgent anymore.

Ten minutes doesn’t seem like much, but it’s just enough to keep momentum. You might not make a meaningful dent, but you’ll lose ground if you do nothing. Saving that ten minutes will cost you an hour to get back on track.

Today was very busy. Olivia turned two and we were both happy for her to monopolize my energy. But I found ten minutes to keep an important project moving along. It was only ten today, but tomorrow I’ll still be on track.
